Good Show, John

Always liked the greater part of John Tesh's music. He's composed for the Olympics ("Barcelona" was the theme of the 1992 Olympics in the city of the same name) and other sporting events as well as TV and easy listening. Many a reviewer has blasted him for crossing over from New Age to Christian music ..... 'cause I can make money doin' that.
Truth is ..... he was never a 'New Age' artist - there wasn't really a classification for his music, so music stores just stuck his CDs in that section.
Anyway, 2 days before his show, some fat cat seats opened up on the front row and we bought 'em. Glad we did - although it wasn't spectacular or fabulous, we enjoyed it like he was playing in our own living room. As a Christian, I particularly enjoyed his vocalist, Christine Miller, as she interpreted some worship & praise favorites. If I was a Krishna, I would have been ticked off - oh well, there probably wern't any Krishnas there anyway.
He also featured a hip hop dancer who interpreted some of Tesh's music in - yes - hip hop. Never would have thought it.
Teshy interspersed stories and audience participation between songs and brought a fine balance of entertainment to the crowd. Good Show, John.

We're going to the show in Cleveland October 23. Can't wait! Did you Photoshop those yourself? They're hilarious.

I just added a Teshy Goodness page to my site. LOL
